Frotcom is delighted to launch two new alarms that detect when drivers are fatigued or distracted.
Fleet alarms are an important part of a fleet manager’s toolkit, alerting you when something is not quite right with the vehicle or its driver. Frotcom is proud to be adding new Fatigue and Distraction alarms to the extensive list of more than 30 different alarms that are already available in its Fleet Management and GPS vehicle tracking solution.
These handy alarms will warn you if drivers are experiencing fatigue or distraction. Simply ensure that your vehicles are equipped with Care Drive’s MR688 fatigue detection monitor and configured with fatigue and distraction detection software, and then the alarms will be able to identify any unusual occurrences. The MR688 uses pupil identification technology to detect driver fatigue and distraction.
The GPS trackers configured to work with these models will send a notification (Fatigue or Distraction) upon detection to the Frotcom Data Center. This will enable you to make the appropriate response. At the same time, the MR688 issues an audible heads up to the drivers, which will make them pay attention to the road.
