Frotcom’s Interact messaging has been updated with a new interface and range of helpful message filters to improve communication with drivers.
Interact is a messaging system with a range of channels to help your back office communicate with drivers, as well as supporting text messaging between drivers. There is a variety of functions to suit your objectives, including integrated navigation, where text messages are sent from the office to onboard navigation devices, with drivers also being able to send text messages to one another when permitted by the company.
It also includes the workforce management channel, where text messages are sent from the office to the Android tablet devices used by drivers in their vehicles. Drivers can then use the information to navigate, receive jobs from the office and fill out forms regarding job progress. Interact also has two alternative messaging methods that drivers can opt into. SMS messages or emails can be sent from the office to drivers’ smartphones allowing them to respond to the office using the same channels.
The newly updated filters will allow fleet managers to locate specific messages sent to drivers, such as messages that have not yet been delivered, delivered messages that have not yet been read and messages that have already been read by the drivers. The innovative new interface means that Fleet Managers are able to search for information more efficiently, freeing up valuable time and streamlining processes.
